Rebeca R. Rossini

Rebeca Rossini, a cherished matriarch and light to all, passed away on October 4, 2024, at the age of 83, in Weston, Florida. Born in Lima, Peru, on January 3, 1941, she lived a life marked by devotion to her family and a passion for being in the kitchen and fixing anything she could put her hands on. 

As a dedicated homemaker, Rebeca created a safe environment for her family, fostering and instilling in them the values of selflessness and love. Her three daughters, Elizabeth Rossini, Luchy Lopez Rossini, and Rebeca Lopez Rossini, were the pride of her life, and they continue to honor her legacy through their own lives and accomplishments.

Rebeca's talents extended beyond the walls of her home. She was an avid cook, often experimenting with new recipes and sharing her culinary delights with loved ones. She had a curious mind and was self-taught in practically everything she did. Her interests included learning all she could about health and food online, completing intricate puzzles, and engaging in exercise, which kept her spirit and body vibrant. Her daily walks, chair yoga, bike riding and tai chi were a testament to her commitment to an active and healthy lifestyle.

She leaves behind a family who revered her: her beloved daughters, treasured grandchildren Aissa Thalia Llontop, Joseph Llontop, Vitto Garcia, and Marco Garcia, and her dear siblings Jorge and Lucila Rossini. They will carry with them the memories of her kindness, her outgoing and fun personality, and the joy she brought to their lives. 

A service to honor and remember Rebeca's life will take place on Sunday, October 20, 2024, from 4:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. at Fred Hunter Hollywood Funeral Home, 6301 Taft Street, Hollywood, Florida 33024. A Celebration of Life will commence following the visitation at 5:00 P.M. Friends and family are invited to join in remembrance of a life well-lived and deeply loved.
