Renee Nelson, age 40, passed away peacefully on June 13, 2026. Renee was a loving partner, devoted mother, cherished daughter, and dear friend whose warmth and kindness touched the lives of all who knew her.
She is survived by her beloved partner, Carlos Santiago; her treasured son, Matthew Boodoosingh; and her loving mother, Banmattie Maharaj. Renee was a strong, joyful, and caring woman who faced life with courage, compassion, and an infectious smile. Her loving spirit and beautiful heart will be remembered forever by her family and friends.
Though her time with us was far too short, the love she shared and the memories she created will remain in the hearts of those who loved her.
A Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, June 21, 2026, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Fred Hunter's Funeral Home, 6301 Taft Street, Hollywood, Florida 33024.
