Richard Hans Black, of Hollywood Florida, was born May 24, 1957 to Norman and Irma Black and passed away on September 6, 2019 from a sudden heart attack. He is survived by his daughter Brenda Grace, grandson Leo Grace and his sisters; Barbara Licari, Christine Ferras, Diana Bunten and Esther Brooks.
Ricky was both a loving father and husband. On April 3, 1993 he married the love of his life, Penny Bracewell and not long after he adopted Brenda. Ricky was always quick with a joke and a story; he made friends and left an impact everywhere he went.
Ricky always had a passion for the ocean, whether it was trolling for dolphin or diving for lobster he was happiest at the helm of his boat. He spent 4 years in the United States Coast Guard from 1975 to 1979. He was stationed in the Dry Tortugas where he spent more time fishing and diving than actually on duty. When he wasn't on the ocean Ricky was up a tree stand as a member of the "Who Shot, Who's Lyin' Hunting Club". An avid deer and turkey hunter, his freezer was always well stocked and ready to be shared.
There will be a celebration of life party at the Tin Cup Sports Bar and Grill, 5050 SW 90th Ave Cooper City on September 14th at 7:00 pm.
