Richard Raymond Haggerty

Richard Raymond Haggerty born May 9, 1944, in Port Chester, New York, his father Raymond and mother Anna Louise and sister Marylou Haggerty (75). Richard married Diane Haggerty of Mamaroneck, New York on June 26, 1965. Richard has three children, Timothy, Christopher and Brendan. He adored his 6 loving grandchildren, Victoria (22) and Sean (14) (Timothy and Melisa), Blake (19) and Hunter (15) (Christopher and Jami) and Connor (11) and Morgan (9) (Brendan and Charlotte). Richard resided in Mamaroneck and Yorktown Heights, NY for over 39 years, Plantation, FL for over 31 years (1985-2003 and 2011 to 2023) and Davie, FL for 8 years. Richard’s careers consisted of a salesman for Bell & Howell for over 30 years which relocated Richard to South Florida from New York in 1983. He was a Salesman for TEM and Melco Embroidery Systems, a Residential Property Appraiser for 6 years, worked for Princess Cruise Lines for over 5 years at Port Everglades, a Security Guard for Allied Security for 6 years at Port Everglades and a proud volunteer for 18 years for the “Make a Wish” Foundation. Richard attended church at Saint David’s Catholic Church in Davie, Fl.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, October 13, 2023 6:30pm to 9:30pm at the City of Sunrise “New River Civic Center” located at 60 Weston Rd, Sunrise, Fl, 33326-two blocks south of St. Rd 84/I-75 on Weston Rd. 1/2mile south of Markham Park Entrance
