Viewing and visitation will be held from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on December 20, 2018 at Fred Hunter's Funeral Home, 6301 Taft St. Hollywood, Florida. Viewing and visitation will also be held at First Wesleyan Community Church-6161 Arthur Street, Hollywood, Florida on Friday, December 21, 2018 from 5:00pm to 6:00pm. The funeral service will be held at 6:00 pm on Friday, December 21, 2018 at First Wesleyan Community Church-6161 Arthur Street, Hollywood, Florida. Pastor Jason Diaz and Pastor Nick Forbes will be officiating the service.

Richard was born in Endicott, NY on Oct. 20th 1955. He graduated from Miramar High and continued on to receive his education at Broward College.

Richard was married to Monique Mullin in October of 1993 and they were together for 19 years.

Richard worked as a Corrections Officer at South Florida Reception Center for 26 years. He then worked as Head of Security for Somerset Academy until he retired. He was an avid football fan and enjoyed watching old western movies, spending time with Family and LOVED Christmas. He dressed up and took pictures as Santa for more than 20 years.

Richard is survived by his 3 Children: Justin, Joshua and James Grandchildren: Jayla and Justin Brothers and Sisters: Robin, Randy, Patricia, Linda and James Curtis
