

Born in Manhattan, New York on July 6, 1938, son of John and Sophie (Sandrowski) Kirch. Richard was raised and educated in Brooklyn, New York. When he married Christine Casanova in 1958, they came to Miami for their honeymoon and liked it so much; they decided to move settling in Hialeah. He was a retired machinist with Pan American Airlines following 37 years of service. Richard was a founding member of the Flynn Council of the Knights of Columbus 4772.
Survived by his three loving children, Dolores "Dee" Mayer, Richard Vincent Kirch, Jr. and his companion, Stephanie Lewis, Patricia Barroso and her husband Julio Barroso, his devoted grandchildren, Evan Barroso, EOD Specialist, USN, Andrew Barroso, Airman, USN, Elizabeth Kirch, Hailey Mayer and Christopher Mayer, brother, John Kirch and his wife Kathy Kirch and sister, Veronica Corso. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 52 years, Christine (Casanova) Kirch in 2011, his beloved daughter, Elizabeth Kirch-Hanks and brother, James Kirch.
Visitation is on Saturday, March 28th from 1:00 ~ 3:00 P.M. at Fred Hunters University Memorial Home, 2401 South University Drive, Davie. Memorial service will begin at the funeral home at 3:00 P.M. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Interment will be private.
