Richard "Rich" Marlin

Richard Evan Marlin, also known as Rich, passed away on November 13, 2023, at the age of 63 in Hollywood, Florida. He was born on April 9, 1960, in Long Island, New York. Rich was an energetic individual who loved staying active through various sports such as tennis, racket ball, golf, running, skiing, and bike riding. He also enjoyed boating, playing poker, and dabbling in the stock market.

Professionally, Rich had a successful career as an entrepreneur and investor/developer in real estate. He specialized in residential and commercial properties as well as websites. Rich earned his real estate and mortgage license and was a dedicated father to his two children.

In his free time, Rich loved to travel and had a passion for collecting coins and art. He had a zest for life and always sought new experiences and adventures.

Rich is survived by his son, Samuel Marlin, his daughter, Sara Marlin, and his brother, Kevin Marlin. He was also cherished by his niece and nephew, Michael and Michelle.

A gathering for family and friends will be held at Fred Hunter's Hollywood Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 22, 2023, from 10:30 A.M. to 11:30 A.M. A Celebration of Life will follow from 11:30 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. The funeral home is located at 6301 Taft Street, Hollywood, Florida 33024.

Rich will be deeply missed by all who knew him. May his memory live on in the hearts of his loved ones.
