He was born in Jamaica, New York on January 25, 1932, son of Harry and Pauline (Miller) Mole. Raised in Jamaica, New York, Mr. Mole was a veteran of the United States Navy during the Korean War.
In 1959 Richard moved to Hollywood, Florida where he received his Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering. He was an active member of St. John Lutheran Church in Hollywood where he was active in several committees and taught Sunday school. He retired from Eastern Airlines in Miami as a computer programmer. Richard was a member of the Moose Lodge #919.
Survived by two nephews, Robert Allen Mole, Roger (Patti) Mole and cousin Bernard "Buddy" Masterson. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by four brothers, Raymond A; Robert F; Walter H. and Edward Mole.
A graveside service with military honors will be held on Wednesday, February 13th at 11:00 A.M. at Hollywood Memorial Garden Cemetery (east side) in Hollywood. The Rev. Terry Michael Danger, Pastor of St. John Lutheran Church will officiate. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.
