He was born in Hollywood, Florida on January 13, 1957, son of James Paul Tyler and Helen (Battaglia) Tyler. Rick attended South Broward High School. In later years he owned and operated his own roofing company.
Rick loved his family, enjoyed fishing, a fan of Miami Heat and going to the horse races.
Survived by his beloved wife, Sharon (Belles) Albert Tyler, sister, Joanne Lefebvre, brother, James Paul (Judy) Tyler,Jr. step-daughter, Robin Lovett, three grandchildren, Joshua Lovett, Leigh and Jenna Goyert and two great grandchildren, Joshua and Jacob Lovett
A memorial gathering will be held on Tuesday, July 9th from 6:00 ~ 7:00 at Fred Hunters Hollywood Memorial Home, 6301 Taft Street in Hollywood with a Celebration of Rick's Life beginning at 7:00 P.M. With Pastor Jonathan "Jay" D. Scutt from Calvary Chapel in Sawgrass officiating. Interment will be private.
