Robert I. Engel, 96, of Lake Wales, formerly from Ft. Lauderdale, died peacefully in his sleep on September 24, 2020. He is survived by his wife, Athene, his two sons, Robert and Gary, daughter-in-law’s and grandchildren, Barbara and David. Robert served in the Navy during World War II. And was also a World War II veteran.
A private family memorial will be held on a future date.
