Robert Winslow Garland (Bob), 87, of Ft. Lauderdale, FL formerly of New York City, passed away May 8, 2014 at Holy Cross Hospital. Bob was born August 8, 1926 in Laconia, NH to Edgar Drew & Pauline (Robinson) Garland. He moved to Ft. Lauderdale in 1988 after retiring as Court Reporter in New York City Family Court. He is survived by his partner, Angel Manuel Aguirre and niece, Jane Dinsmoor (Lawrence) LaCroix. He is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Hazel Louise Dinsmoor. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 901 NE 2nd St., Ft. Lauderdale 33301 on Thursday, May 15, 2014 at 10:00 am.
