I will forever miss my Big Brother Ronnie, who stood up for me when neighborhood bullies bothered me, wrestled with me for fun, and took my best friend to our Junior Prom because she had no date. He was always willing to help out. He was also the greatest joke teller. After studying carpentry, he made us proud when he joined the U. S. Postal Service as a Letter Carrier, trained under our Uncle Joe Kearns--who was a tough trainer, and stayed with the Hollywood post office for more than four decades, even to retirement. We were thrilled when he married Patty Jackson in 1971, and we knew it would last forever. Ron was the proud father of four wonderful boys; he had his wish for a daughter fulfilled in the three daughters-in-law the boys (now men) provided him. He was a doting grandfather to three boys, one girl, and one yet-to-be-born grandson.I will miss your jovial laugh and quit wit, big brother, along with all the great memes, jokes, and articles you posted on your facebook or in emails. It seemed that was the best way for us to keep in touch in the last few years. May you rest in eternal peace and enjoy Heaven, Ronnie! Your little sister, Sandra
