Rosiclaire Jean, age 80, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 1, 2025, while in hospice care at Golfcrest Nursing Home. Born on February 27, 1945, in Haiti, Rosiclaire lived a life marked by devotion to her faith, love for her family, and a deep sense of compassion for others.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Aurelus Agenor, with whom she shared many wonderful years of marriage.
A faithful member of the Baptist Church in Cap-Haitien, Haiti, Rosiclaire found joy and strength in group and early morning prayers. One of her favorite scriptures was Psalm 34:2: "Je bénirai l'Éternel en tout temps; Sa louange sera toujours dans ma bouche." Her life was a testament to this verse, filled with praise and kindness.
Rosiclaire was self-employed and well known for her generosity and warm spirit. She had a special gift for making those around her smile and feel cared for. Above all, she was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother—nurturing, strong, and fiercely protective of her family.
She leaves behind a legacy of love through her children: Eunice, Frandy, and Jodelet Agenor of Florida; and Ruth Georges Agenor, Rosemane, and Renald Agenor of Pennsylvania. She is also survived by seven cherished grandchildren: Lyncie, Bianca, Bryan, Anjolie, Samuel, Chris, and Nicholas.
Rosiclaire Jean will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her faith, warmth, and unwavering love will remain forever in our hearts.
