Ruby attended Devon All Age School and Mandeville Vocational Center where she further her education as a Dress Maker. Ruby had a passion for cooking which led her opening her own restaurant.
Ruby married Cyril Benjamin now deceased. Ruby migrated to the United States of America in 1979 and shortly thereafter gained employment with Mr & Mrs Larry Lerner. Ruby worked for 44 years (the only job she had until she took her last breath).
Ruby is survived by her 4 children: Yvonne, Audrey, Neville and Andrew. 5 Grand Children: David, Shanek, Randell, Roan & Michael. 4 Great Grand Children: Romeo, Isiah, Taina & Dellin. 1 sister: Thelma. 1 brother: Herbert. Nieces: Carolyn, Janet & Nicole. Nephews: Omar 1 & Omar 2. Daughter-in-law: Rhona. Other relatives too numerous to mention and a host of friends
