Russell Edward Conn

After a lengthy battle with cancer, Russell Edward Conn passed away peacefully on May 11, 2018 in Pembroke Pines, FL at the age of 63. He leaves behind his loving Son and Daughter; Russell Everett Conn and Katrina L Conn.

Russ was born on August 30, 1954 in Washington DC, to father Russell Eugene Conn and mother Helen Conn. He grew up in a loving military family and spent a lot of his adolescence in Germany. In school, he skipped 2 years ahead and was enrolled in college full time at 16, he excelled in Math and IT, and graduated with honors from the University of Ohio with a degree in Computer Sciences in 1975 at 21 years old.

He expressed immense satisfaction with his career experiences at Jackson Health Systems as a Systems Analyst. He valued his family and close relationships; but the accomplishment he was most proud of was his perseverance in providing for the best life and opportunities for his children, who will be eternally grateful for all of the sacrifices he made.

He lived an eventful life, with many ups and downs but looked back fondly and felt at ease with his life's choices and that he completed the goal of providing for his children.

Russ is survived by his children, Russell and Katrina Conn. He is preceded in death by his parents; and his sister Joyce, who died in early childhood. Russ requested to be cremated.

There will be a memorial service at Fred Hunter on Saturday May 19 from 3-5p. Following, His ashes will be interred at the family plot in Russellville, Ohio at Linwood Cemetery.
