Russell Raiford Jr. of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, passed away on September 13, 2025. He was born in Houston, Texas, to the late Russell Raiford Sr. and June Frew Raiford. Russell. He spent his early years in Hollywood, FL, where he attended school before graduating from Nova University.
Russell dedicated his professional life to healthcare, working as a Registered Nurse at several institutions where he was known for his compassion and commitment to patient care.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Russell Raiford Sr. and June Frew Raiford, as well as his sister, Diane Raiford.
Russell is survived by his beloved life partner, Kevin Prascak; and his cousins: Elaine Zula Bierwirth of Pembroke Pines, FL; Pam Snedaker of Tavares, FL; and Marthalyn Raiford Coffman of Texas. He is also survived by second cousins Brian Bierwirth of Hollywood, FL, and Suzanne Bierwirth Perez of Palmetto Bay, FL.
