Ruth Leavis, 88, long-time resident of Hollywood, FL, died on February 7, 2014. She was born in North Billerica, Massachusetts. She was raised in Massachusetts and Rhode Island living many years on the family farm. She was a proud alumna of Boston University. She loved the Lord and participated in many Bible study classes with the fellowship of good friends. She enjoyed learning about geography and history and her trips to Europe brought them all together. She is survived by her four loving sons, four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Friends may join her family for visitation at Fred Hunter's Funeral Home, 6301 Taft Street, Hollywood, FL on Sunday, February 9, 2014 from 6 to 8 pm. Cremation will follow and entombment will be private at a later date.
