Salvatore C. Zocco, AKA –“Sam, Sammy” 68, of Pembroke Pines, Florida, passed away on January 16th. [Sam] was born in [Cleveland, Ohio] but grew up in North Miami Beach. [Sam] was married to his wife [Kim] for [34 years].
The funeral mass will be held at [10am, January 21, 2022] at [St. Bonaventure Catholic Church]. [Rev. Edmond Prendergast] of [St. Bonaventure] will be officiating. Funeral arrangements are being handled by [Fred Hunters].
[Sam] was the Chief Clinical & Operations Officer at Here’s Help, Inc. in Miami Gardens, Florida for almost 48 years, which is a program in human development since 1968. Over the decades, he has helped many clients who struggle with substance abuse to rebuild their lives through therapy, education and career opportunities.
Sam was a Gibson-guitar man first and foremost who played Beatles tunes everyday on his varied guitars, but he also loved golf and surfing at his beach condo in Cocoa Beach with his family; especially the grandkids.
Sam is survived by Kim his spouse, his 3 children; John, Salvatore and Tayler and daughter in law Niamh, as well as his 6 grandchildren; Zeke, Cole, Darcie, Levi, Aaron, and Ava, his brother John and many cousins in Cleveland, Ohio where he was born.
