We lost you 6 years ago today. I remember feeling so empty and lonely. I guess time helps but I still think of you often and quote you all the time. Brittney is just about to be 18 years old. You would be so proud of her. She is going to NSU (yes, not FSU). She will study Marine Bio. Brett is looking at FSU but is keeping his options open. He will major in Computer Science or programming/coding. Suzanne and I couldn't be more proud of both of them. I visited you on Christmas Day with Dad. I still go to the cemetery at least 5 times per year (Christmas, Mother's Day, The day of your passing, my birthday, and your birthday). I will always love and miss you. Say hey to gram and grandpa for me!

I hate to say this but I feel dumb writing on this site. I have been out to the cemetery a couple times since last writing. We went to Seattle and Alaska this summer. Great trip. Dad is getting his second lease (wow, who would have thought!). I turned 50 this year! 50 sounds so old although I don't feel any older per say. We all miss you. So many times I want to tell you things. Dad is not you! Can you believe Brittney is a Senior in high school? Wow! Neither kid has a great interest in driving. I'll bet you and Dad wish that were me. Happy Mother's Day. I spent some time in the afternoon with you. Sometimes it seems like it was a couple days or weeks that you have been gone and sometimes it feels like forever. Well, another birthday (both for myself and Brittney) without you. I'd like to think that you are looking over me and my family. I am on my way back to Las Vegas today for a conference and then returning on Friday. We are all going on a family vacation to the Panama Canal (this is a bucket list for me). Merry Christmas mom. It's been the 3rd Christmas without you and I miss you more and more. I don't think you would be happy or proud at how much time Dad spends with our family. Suzanne and I just came back from an Anniversary trip to NY. She has never been and it's been years since I've been. She really enjoyed it.
