Shirley (Croman) Morgan was born in Sugarloaf, PA to Clark Croman and Evelyn (Yotes) Croman on June 11, 1929. She graduated from West Hazelton High School in West Hazelton, PA. She married Donald Thomas Morgan on October 27, 1950 in Winchester, Virginia and they were married for 36 years until his passing on August 18, 1986. She was a full-time homemaker, living most of her life in Pennsylvania. She relocated to Florida where has lived the past 25 years.
Shirley is preceded in death by her late husband Donald Thomas Morgan, her brothers, Clark and Glenn Croman and her parents, Evelyn (Yotes-Croman) Fagan and Clark Croman.
Shirley is survived by her two daughters: Donna Swoager of Imperial, PA and Carol Bliss of Ft. Lauderdale, FL along with her husband, Robert Bliss, her grandchildren: Herb Swoager, Morgan Swoager and Amber Kuzava and great grandchildren: Jordyn Swoager and Thomas Cooper. Her sister-in-law, Joyce Croman, and nephews, Glenn, Justin, Andy, and Mark (God son) Croman.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 8, 2022. Arrangements are by Fred Hunters Funeral Home at 6301 Taft Street in Hollywood, Florida.
