Captain Stephen Dale Cronk, retired pilot and faithful servant of Jesus Christ, passed away peacefully at his home in Cooper City on Friday, December 16th, after a long illness. He was 65. Stephen grew up in St. Paul, Minnesota, where he attended St. Thomas Military Academy and the University of Minnesota.
A resident of South Florida since 1978, Stephen led a full life, flying executive jets, fishing with his sons, coaching his daughters'softball teams, and ministering to those in need. He will be dearly missed and best remembered for his commanding stature, caring nature, sense of humor and love of the Lord. A cherished friend, devoted father and beloved husband, he is survived by Loretta Cronk, his wife of 27 years, four children, Joseph, Christopher, Elizabeth and Christina, ten grandchildren, in-laws Craig and June Titterud, and other family members. A private family gathering will be held in St.
Augustine where Steve requested his mortal remains be committed. His family will receive friends at a service to Celebrate his Life at Christ the Rock Community Church on Friday, December 30th, at 4:00 p.m. ln lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made to Prison Fellowship Ministries in his memory.
