

Susana was born in the Philippines on August 11,1950 . She immigrated to the United States in 1977.
Susana was predeceased by her mother Felicitas Medina , father Emiliano Zabala and brother in law , Manuel Ruiz Salazar,
Susana received a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and was a second grade teacher at Malagasang Elementary School in Imus, Cavite in the Philippines for seven years Upon arriving in the US she spent seven years working at the former Miami Heart Institute in central supply before medically retiring in 1985 Susan’s cuisine and culinary expertise were well known among family and friends for being the best in Filipino cooking celebrating our culture and traditions.Susan’s most cherished memories were spending time with her family and pets, sewing and crafting.
Susan is survived by her three sisters Belen Salazar, Thelma Zabala and Delilah Agapito , her brother Manuel Zabala and wife Nena Left to honor her memory are her nephews and nieces Rodney Zabala, Manuel Jose Salazar , Randy Agapito and wife Dena, Mabel Salazar and husband Lee Wolland and Diane Agapito. Her grandnephews and grandniece Emmett , Mackenzie and Ezra Agapito.
Blessings and prayers with Fr. Lleo was held May 9 at Fred Hunters Funeral Home in Hollywood , FL. She was cremated and her ashes are with family and her spirit lives on in our hearts. She was loved by many and will be missed dearly
