
Terence Ti Jen Fu, July 25, 1933-July 28, 2009. Terence (better known as Terry to all his friends, and Dee Zun to his family and loved ones) was born in Shanghai, China on July 25, 1933. Son of the late Dr. Wen Shou Fu and the late Mrs. Pearl Kwok Fu of Shanghai, grandson of HRH the late Bei Le Axingioro Tsai Tao of Beijing and Chang Chun, and of the late Kwok Bew of Sydney, Austrailia and Shanghai. Terry was predeceased by his brother, Jeffrey Yuen Jen Fu of Shanghai and good friend, Jeffery Cassady of Ft. Lauderdale. A graduate of St. Johns University of Shanghai, Terry moved to Hong Kong in 1956 and joined Pan American World Airways. He worked for the airline in Hong Kong, San Francisco and Honolulu. In 1969, Terry joined the Hong Kong Tourist Association (a quasi Hong Kong Government organization promoting tourism to Hong Kong) and was based in New York as their East Coast Representative. In 1973, he was promoted to Director, Eastern Region USA. In addition, in 1994, he was promoted to Director, South America. Before his retirement in 1998, Terry was named Honorary Citizen of Minneapolis, and also of the Big Island of Hawaii. When he retired, he moved to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. During his years with the Hong Kong Tourist Association, he traveled widely. In addition to China and Hong Kong, Terry has been to more than 40 countries. Terry is survived by his two nephews, Elliot Ming Yi Fu (Xiao Li) of San Bruno and Bobby Ding Yi Fu (Nai Yan) of Belmont, CA and their children. He is also survived by his former partner as well as best and caring friend, Laurence Boschetto of New York City.
