Therese J Marshall

May 30, 1967 - August 29, 2024

It is with great sadness that the family of Therese “Terri” Joette Herbst Marshall of Davie, FL, announce her unexpected passing on August 29, 2024 at the age of 57. She will be lovingly remembered by her children John, Lee, and Ashley; parents Lee and Mary Herbst; and siblings Peter Herbst, Eric Herbst, and Laura (Daniel) Ressler. Terri was predeceased by her sister, Lynn Herbst.

Terri was born and raised in Grand Island, NY. She later attended and graduated from University of Colorado, Colorado Springs, obtaining a bachelor’s degree in business. Upon graduation from college, she served in the US Army including a deployment to Saudi Arabia.  She later earned her MBA from Webster University.  

Terri loved the water and spent lots of time at the beach and pool. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends and finding fun with her three nephews. When she was not at the pool or beach, she spent her time baking cookies for her business “Doughlicious.” 

Terri was a breast cancer survivor. As such, the family requests any memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society in lieu of flowers.

Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope.  For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him.
