Thomas John Arnold

Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 31, 2018, at Fred Hunter's Funeral Home, located at 6301 Taft Street, Hollywood, Floridas 33024. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, 7/31/18: 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. for family, and from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. for the public. Funeral arrangements handled by Fred Hunter's Funeral Home.

Thomas was born in Pittsburgh, PA on January 4, 1953. He completed his education with a G.E.D. from Hialeah High School. Thomas was married to Dorothea Elizabeth on April 1, 1995 after a long engagement; they were married for 23 years.

Thomas was employed by Whole Foods Market for six years. Prior to that, he worked as an A/C technician for 17 years; he was also a union member as a carpenter. He was a hard and loyal worker on the job and around the home.

Thomas is survived by his loving wife Elizabeth; children William and Aprille; grandchildren Caitlin, Jack, Thomas, Julianna, Mary and Faith; great-grandchildren Lucy, Thomas, Iris and Davey. He also leaves his sisters and brothers: Patricia Ann, Jean Marie, Robert, Vern, Phillip and Lawrence, as well as his beloved nieces and nephews.

Thomas is preceded in death by his parents, August and Anne Arnold. Also his wife's parents, Dr. Horace and Ethel Morey; her brothers Adam Berg, Dr. Eliot Berg and Peter Berg.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to: Memorial Hospital West Cancer Institute, 603 N. Flamingo Road, Pembroke Pines, FL 33028. Also to Memorial Hospital South Hospice Unit, 3600 Washington Street, Hollywood FL 33021 (Seasons Hospice & Palliative Care).
