

Tom, a Master Mason, was born July 18, 1938. He was born to the late Elijah Grace Sr. and Mae Frances Taylor Grace in Shorterville, Alabama. Tom attended Cash Grace School and Henry County Training School.
Tom accepted Christ an early age. He joined the New Salem Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. B.C. Magwood.
His parents relocated to Florida on December 18, 1956. The first Sunday in January 1957, Tom joined the St. Ruth Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. W. C. Edcar. Tom was a very faithful member for 60 plus years. He was Trustee Chair and Deacon Chair for a total of more than 30 years.
Tom was instrumental in creating an account that helped the Church save money. He worked faithfully in many areas of the Church to help make it better.
Tom developed a close relationship with the following Pastors: Rev. W.C. Edcar (ordained Tom), Rev. Marlon Ritter, Rev. Randal Barr, Rev. T.T. Shellman, Bishop Victor T. Curry and Rev. J.C. Howard.
TRANSITIONING TO ETERNITY
On May 4, 2020, Tom completed his stay on earth and was called to Glory.
He is preceded in death by his parents Elijah Grace Sr. and Mae Frances Taylor Grace, Yvonne Grace, Mary E. Grace (daughter), brothers; Robert, Hershel, James, Leroy and sisters; Charlotte and Rutha.
Tom is survived by his wife, Gloria Gaskins-Grace, Tom Grace Jr. (son), Lynet Davis (daughter), Terrence Thomas (son), Tremain Clark (grandson), Tandra Robinson (granddaughter), Mable (George) Grace-Funchess (sister), J.B. (Jen) Grace (brother) and Elijah (Jetty) Grace J. (brother). Also surviving is a host of relatives and friends.
