I had so many wonderful moments with you mom that I can't count the ways that I have expressed my love for you. We shared a deep love and friendship that nothing can compare. I took care of you when you needed me the most and only god and you know how much I was there for you. You were my guiding light, my inspiration and the example of a brave independent women. You prided yourself on working hard and picking yourself up when times were hard and you taught us to be strong an to never let life and setbacks hold us down. I remember pop greeting you at the door everyday with a big hug and a kiss and then dancing and singing to you. He was so romantic and he loved you so much. I thank you and pa and god for that fine example and I learned to accept nothing less from a man from viewing your example of love. Your example of caring and cherishing the one you love. Amen.

I am the 5th child of Arthur Solano and I am very proud o be his daughter. My father was a very intelligent man and he taught us to come home from school and do our homework and read an article from the newspaper and explain what the article was about and look up in the dictionary any words we did not understand. My father motivated us to read as his brother Uncle Bob aka Robert Solano owned a book store in Manhattan and we would visit him weekly and we would get to choose three books each. My father loved my mother Dolly Solano so much.... every day after work he would come home and dance with her and sing to her and teach us all of his knowledge. He was the greatest husband and father on earth. My mother was so happy with him until he died in 1978 when I was just 11. He would talk to me daily and teach me his morals and how he wanted our family to progress. I feel he is very proud of us as he can see the great progress we have made in our lives. I would like to take this moment to express my deepest and most heartfelt condolences. I am really saddened by the loss of my friend Dolly. My heart is heavy and I am at a loss for words .Several years ago I met Dolly and from the moment I met her she and I became friends. She was not only my friend but my confident as well. She would share personal stories with me as I did with her. She inspired me to focus on the importance of life and me. She believed in me even when I doubted myself. She touched me in many ways and even though the distance was what kept me from my friend never did I once forget all her advise and words of wisdom.
