Born in McKees Rocks, PA to Stanley Joseph Roman and Florence Roman, Ursula always had a passion for music and sports. Growing up with 3 brothers, she could always be found watching her brothers' athletic events and being their biggest fan. Out of Alliance College, Ursula became a high school English Teacher. In 1972, Ursula and her then husband Robert moved to South Florida where they would eventually have two sons, Todd and Scott. Ursula made her two boys the center of her universe and in 1991 she followed them to St. David's Catholic Church where she became the music teacher. She immediately started working on every pageant she could, making the Christmas pageant her ultimate production. She eventually initiated a choir that traveled around the world, but most off all she touched many lives. She loved each and every student she taught and made it her life's mission to deliver God's message and love to them. She was a strong, courageous and tough woman that took cancer head on and for 7 years she won that battle. Fortunately for the angels, God thought 7 years was long enough and took her to start a new choir, one in heaven. Ursula is survived by her two sons, Todd and Scott; her three brothers Stanley Jr. (Elaine), Robert (Marchell) and David (Mary Anne); 6 nieces, Kristin, Stacy, Melissa, Michelle, Chelsea and Tori; one nephew Stanley III and many extended family and friends that she loved with all her heart. Ursi, Mimi, Mom, we love you with all our hearts and you forever will be missed. Thanks for all the wonderful memories and for showing us that God can conquer all.
