Sorry for your loss, may you find peace in the promises in the Bible, and the comfort that someday we can see our loved ones again. God promise in Revelation 21:4: that "He will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away. Acts 24:15 assures us: "There is going to be a resurrection", what that mean is that we can find comfort in God's word in knowing that someday we can see our loved ones again. How wonderful to know that we need not fear death again, for God has promise in Isaiah 25:8 these comforting word, "He will swallow up death for ever, and certainly wipe the tears from all faces. What great joy to be able to live forever without the fear of losing our loved ones again. It shall be as he promise.

I remember Sonny Henriquez with love and affection - I knew him since 1959 - a close friend and allay - and a good drinking buddy as well - May you rest in Peace, and my heartfelt sympathy to Joyce, and to his two remaining sisters'.

Uncle Sonny may you rest in peace. Please give my mother, your sister Gloria, a big, long embrace on my behalf as I know she is embracing you.

In 1973, I went to Jamaica and spent 2 weeks with Uncle Sonny and Aunt Joyce. I got heat stroke and passed out in front of Aunt Joyce and scared the you know what out of Uncle Sonny. Grandma, mom, myself and Uncle Sonny lived in the same house in Kingston until he got married and we moved to Florida. He was always working at his gas station.

Sonny the years of you as a step father were good and sometimes filled with great discussions and any info we might have needed re Dicky's health or mine you really should have been a doctor and you caredRest well

I remember the few times during WW2 when my mom Beulah Riggs Henriquez and my brothers would depart Aruba, the place of my birth, and visit Jamaica where uncle Sonny and my grandmother Philomena, and all of mom's sisters and brothers...The last time I personally met with uncle Sonny was in 1953 on my return trip from Aruba with a stop over in Jamaica to the US... He shared many stories about his life, the Henriquez family, and mostly his goals & ambitions in his future...He was quite a gentleman to say the least and I know that in his passing he is in Gods loving hands...RIP uncle Sonny

Alfred, Barbara and I want to thank you for being a great "Grandpa" to our son. Thanks for teaching me about pepper trees and how to care for them. You will be missed by many, rest in peace.

Grandpa, you always made me smile. Thanks for all your handmade cards. I loved the way you called me "spree" when you would see me. You knew I would get a job in a lab someday and so I have. You will be missed and thanks for the great memories! I love you Grandpa.

Uncle Sonny:I will miss the times when you left me a telephone message and it would say "Carolyn, this is your Uncle Sonny, please give me a call". Or when I would call you sharing what was going on and you would always say to me "Keep me posted, okay". Although I am saddened by the passing of Uncle Sonny, I will forever cherish his life. I will miss his spirited and thought provoking discussions. He was a thinker...case in point he submitted his theory of how to control the BP oil leak off the shores of Louisiana to the White House and got a response. Gone but not forgotten.. Please accept my sincere condolances. Losing a love one in death is something we can never mentally or emotionally prepare for. Gods word provides much comfort during this very difficult time. Weep not for me though I am gone. Grieve if you will, but not for long. I am at peace; my soul's at rest there is no need for tears. For with your love I was so blessed for all those years. There is no pain; I suffer not, the fear now all is gone. Put now these things out of your thoughts, in your memory I live on. Remember not my fight for breath, remember not the strife. Please do not dwell upon my death, but celebrate my life.

Those we love don't go away, they walk beside us every day, unseen, unheard, but always near. Still loved, still missed, and very dear . Rest In Peace dear Sonny.
