

Victor James Zoldy (Vic/Jim), 85 of Davie FL passed away August 15, 2022 at his residence surrounded by his loving family and companion Eileen (Cathie) Slinn. He was born in Philadelphia on February 17, 1937.
Vic (Jim) was preceded in death by his loving wife of 54 years, Grethe, his parents Lester Zoldy and Mary Kudrey Zoldy, along with his brother Lester Zoldy and sisters Mary Tillay and Tillie Lucyk.
He was born and raised in Lawndale, PA until he entered the United States Army in 1956 where he was stationed in Germany where he met Grethe. They married in 1960. The majority of their life was spent in Pennsylvania raising their children in Lawndale, Cheltenhan and Souderton until they moved to Florida in 2012. He had a career of 30 plus years in International Industrial Sales in the Philadelphia region. After retiring he founded the Montgomery County Senior Softball League in 1999 and became the league’s 1st Commissioner in 2002. The league continues to grow thanks to his vision and belief that ‘If you had fun, you won’.
He is survived by his son Ron Zoldy (Eileen), daughter Rhonda Espada (Mike); grandchildren Kyle (Jackie), Shannon and Jenna Zoldy, Rome and Nicole Espada. His great-grandchildren Aubree and Rylee Espada, Brayden Zoldy and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He had a way of making everyone feel important and his kindness and devotion to family and friends were evident in all he did for others.
The family will be having private services.
