Victoria A Thomas

Victoria Ann Thomas, 89, passed away peacefully at home on May 6, 2023 after a brief illness. Born in Detroit, Michigan to Joseph and Sophia (Pacewicz) Leja. Victoria is preceded in death by brothers Michael and Eugene Leja, sister Cecilia Budnik. Brother-in- law Stanley Budnik, nephew Steven Budnik, Husband Willard Thomas, Ex-husbands Chris Christensen and William Lohman. Survived by her children Audrey Beaver, Annette Thomas, Son-in-law Rick Beaver, Grandchildren Sean and Katlynn Beaver. Sister-in-laws Olga and Joan Leja, Nephews David (Diane) Leja, Allen (Mary) Leja, Kevin (Carmela) Leja, Brian (Lisa) Leja and Nieces Karen (Joseph) Sicignano and Pam (Donald) Katsaris. 

Victoria relocated to Hollywood, Florida in 1957. She spent many years in the legal field at various law firms (Clerk of courts Frank Marks, Clarke Walden (Dania beach bank), Peoples national bank, Leo Greenfield, J. Davis, Mineo Booth & George) ending her dedicated career at Memorial Hospital Legal Department in 2015.

Victoria gave 200 percent. !00 percent to her family and 100 percent to her career. She never had an unkind word for anyone. 

Blood donor, genealogist, hostess with the mostest, lover of cruises and crosswords, she will be missed by all. Vicki spent her last years between S.W. Florida and Tennessee with her daughters but her heart belonged to Hollywood, Florida.
