Wilbur G Corridon

Wilbur Garvin Corridon, 69, of Miramar, FL, passed away on January 1, 2024.

Wilbur Garvin Corridon, best known as Garvin, was born in Port-of-Spain, Trinidad & Tobago, to Hardy and Millicent Corridon on April 18, 1954. He married Dr. L. Beverly Simon on June 20, 1981 in Brooklyn, NY. He graduated from York College in Queens, NY. He worked in Telecommunications for Verizon for over 30 years.  

Garvin is preceded in death by his parents: Hardy and Millicent Corridon, his older brother: Leslie Corridon, and his wife: Dr. L. Beverly Simon-Corridon. 

Garvin is survived by his children: Lemar Renhart Ingram and Nardia Alexis Marissa Corridon, his brothers and sisters: Joan Andrea Corridon, Irma Evadny Corridon, Jerry Mortimer Corridon, Jemma Mary Corridon, Hazel Corridon, and Lystra Wendy Clarke, and his great-niece: Lyris-Paige Corridon, along with multiple cousins, nieces, nephews, and Godchildren.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held from 11:00am-1:00pm on Saturday, January 13, 2024 at Fred Hunter’s Funeral Home on 6301 Taft St, Hollywood, FL 33024. Arrangements are by Fred Hunter’s Funeral Home.
