Bill served in the Navy, met his wife Jo Ann, married and had two boys. He played the conga drums professionally and also enjoyed hiking, reading, chemistry and collecting stamps.
He prided himself on being there for his family, and often said, that even though he needed to work, he would always find time to spend with his kids.
He is survived by sons Victor and Kenneth Ives, Victor’s wife Georgina Ives, and his grand and great-grandchildren.
My brother and I couldn’t have asked for a better Dad, and we will miss him very much.
