Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM on Friday, October 26, 2018 at Fred Hunter's Funeral Home, in Hollywood, Florida.
The funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, October 27, 2018, at Nativity Catholic Church. Father Babin will be officiating.
Military Honors and burial will immediately follow the funeral at Hollywood Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Bill was born in New York, NY on March 11, 1927. He was one of our unsung heroes, serving in WWII, enlisting in the Navy at the of 17.
Bill was married to Rose Zecca on June 21, 1953. They were married for 65 blessed years.
Bill worked as the fire inspector for Miami Dade Community College, retiring on December 31, 1995. He enjoyed cruising, traveling, reading, and spending time with his family.
Bill is survived by his wife Rose, his daughter Susan and son-in-law Mark, daughter Michele and son-in-law Bruce, daughter-in-law Lorraine, and brother-in-law and friend Tony. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren-Lisa; Corey; Shannon; Rene; Jessie; Catlin; John William; Emily; Elayne; and Caroline. In addition, he is survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
Bill is preceded in death by his son John Michael Lassourreille.
