

Born in Chicago in 1941 and passed away in Plantation, FL on February 19 2020. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Janice Leon as well as his sons, Scott Leon (Franci,)of Davie, FL, and Robert Leon (Lisa) of Parkland FL.
He has 4 grandchildren, Jake and Madison with Scott and Franci, and Blake and Makenzie with Robert and Lisa.
Bill grew up in Chicago, he was a consummate Cub fan.
He believed the old phrase as most Cub fans do that
"THERE'S ALWAYS NEXT YEAR!"
He graduated from Shimer College in Mt. Carroll, Il.
While in Chicago he built and ran numerous businesses. In 1982, he moved to Florida with Jan, where they married in 1984.They together built and ran their own businesses. First a Computer company and then a Real Estate Business.
Bill always swore to help those who needed it in his real estate endeavors.
He loved coaching young men in baseball. It was his greatest joy when the team he helped coach went on to win the Big League World Series in 1997.
Bill will be missed by all who knew him.
Memorial service will be held on March 1, between the hours of 12 and 3 at Fred Hunter’s Funeral home, 2401 S. University Dr. Davie, FL 33324.
