William Leroy Martin, 77, of Hollywood, Florida died unexpectedly at his home on Sunday, June 19, 2011. He was born in Floyd, Virginia on April 19, 1934, son of Pete and Julie Martin. A resident of Hollywood, Florida for more than 50 years, Leroy worked at Cadillac Uniform Company for 27 years. He then worked for Sansone Air Conditioning Company and for the past ten years at Winn Dixie. Leroy was an avid NASCAR fan.
Survived by his beloved wife Simone (Martel) Martin, sister Cassie Carr, children, Gary (Kim) Martin, Linda M. (Buddy) Greenawalt, Barry (Michelle) Martin, James Buddy (Elizabeth) Martin, Diane (Danny) Garrett, Jim (Millie) Muncie, Larry Damewood and his wife and Melissa M. (Roger) Ash. Also survived by 19 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the charity of your choice.
