Thorne Jr., William Bryan (Bucky), 77, of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, formerly of Medford, MA, passed away on November 14, 2013 at Broward Health Medical Center. Bill was born July 24, 1936 in Winthrop, MA to William Bryan Sr. and Florence Gertrude (McHatton) Thorne. A Marine Corporal Veteran, member of the Elks Club and retired Hood Milk Truck Driver. He is survived by his children Kelley Marie Thorne of Ft. Lauderdale; William (Bill) Fredirick Thorne of North Fayette, PA and Tina Marie Thorne of Scarsdale, NY; grandchildren Brady, Christian, Alexandra and Luke and four sisters: Corol Newhook, Patsy Burrrell, Mary Lou Raymond, and Marjorie Libby. He is preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Barbara Thorne and Florence Gaudet. Services will be held at a later date up north.
