

William was born in Pomeroy, Ohio to Helen and Raymond Zeiher on Dec 19, 1929. He went to school at Riverside Military Academy in Hollywood, FL. William married Betty Ann Gerald on Dec 19, 1954 in Marion, South Carolina. He graduated from University of Florida with a BS/ B.A. degree in accounting in 1951 and a University of Florida Law degree in 1956. He practiced law in Ft Lauderdale for over 50 years specializing in Estate Planning and Real Estate Transactions. He was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the Army between undergraduate and law school. At various times in his life, William was actively involved with a variety of organizations including Power Squadron where he served as Commander, Habitat for Humanity and the local Rotary Club at John Knox. William loved playing tennis with his buddies on Saturday morning at Lauderdale Yacht Club but his greatest passion was being out on his boat fishing.
William is preceded in death by his wife Betty Ann and his parents Helen and Raymond Zeiher.
William is survived by his children Carolyn Ann Zeiher (Paul) of Tucson, AZ; Linda Marie Medling (Steve) of Lexington, VA; and William Andrew Zeiher, Jr (Linda) of Marietta, GA; nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday March 21 at 1:00 pm at First Presbyterian Church in the Watts Chapel, 401 SE 15th Ave, Ft Lauderdale 33301. A private entombment will be held at Lauderdale Memorial Park Cemetery.
