Zoe was born on July 29, 2002 in Pembroke Pines, Florida. She was a 9th grade student at Pembroke Pines Charter High School.
Zoe loved Japanese Animee, sushi, and everything One Piece (an online show that let her keep loving Japanese Animee). She was funny, artistic, creative, a talented artist, loved animals, and Urban Outfitters. She was our baby and her Daddy's mini-me. Our hearts are broken.
Zoe is survived by her parents, Raymond and Johann McGowans, her sisters Aja Rae McGowans and Jasmine Abick, her grandfather John D'Amico, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
The McGowans family is in the process of setting up the Zoe McGowans One Piece Foundation which will be used to help children who struggle with Anorexia Nervosa and its associated illnesses.
