Amber Leann Hurley

Amber was born on September 12, 1994, in Columbia, MO the loving daughter of Kevin and Lisa LeAnn (Porch) Hurley. She was a 2013 graduate of Jefferson City High School in Jefferson City, MO and was a member of Union Hill Baptist Church in Holts Summit, MO. She will be remembered by her family for her love of cooking, gardening with her mother and crafting. She also had a love for the color pink, watching SpongeBob, listening to the windchimes and watching the birds outside of her window. Amber was a warm and tender soul, known for her kind heart, gentle spirit, and unwavering strength. She knew no stranger, never had a complaint and was always selfless. Amber was a cherished and loving daughter, sister and best friend to her dog named Daisy Mae. Her loyal companion Daisy Mae was always by her side, wherever Amber was Daisy was right there too. Her nurturing nature and helpful spirit touched everyone she met, as she always put the wellbeing of others before her own. She found happiness in life’s simple pleasures, whether it was spending time with her niece and nephews or shopping for a perfect pair of earrings. She was truly one of the kindest people and will be missed by everyone she touched in her short life.

Survivors include: her father, Kevin Hurley of Holts Summit, MO; one sister, Ashley Craig (Justin) of Holts Summit, MO; one brother, Allen Hurley (Christina) of Holts Summit, MO; one niece, Adelynn Craig and two nephews, Gavin Craig and Murphy Craig. She was preceded in death by her mother, Lisa LeAnn Hurley and her best friend, Daisy Mae.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 7, 2025, from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm at Debo Funeral Home in Holts Summit, MO. Funeral services will follow on Friday, March 7, 2025, at 2:00 pm at the funeral home with Rev. Greg Smith officiating. Burial will be in Summit Memorial Park in Holts Summit, MO.
