Arline Beck

Arline was born on December 10, 1941 in Gholson, TX the daughter of Thomas and Pauline (Patterson) Mooring. On March 5, 1961, she was united in marriage to Leon Beck in Amarillo, TX. They were faithful members of Grace Lutheran Church in Holts Summit, MO, where she helped out in the preschool room. She was the activities director for Heisinger Bluffs in Jefferson City, MO for 10 years. She then worked for the US Post Office as the clerk, retiring in 2000. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, crafting and spending time with her family and grandchildren.

Survivors include: her husband of 61 years, Leon Beck of the home; three sons, Jeffrey Beck (Nora) of Olivehurst, CA, Steven Beck (Linda) of Holts Summit, MO and Donald Beck (Penny) of New Bloomfield, MO; one daughter, Leonette Markland (John) of Fayette, MO; four brothers, Glen Mooring (Jo), Frank Mooring, John Mooring (Sharon) and Kenneth Mooring; 12 grandchildren, Brandon, Bradley, Kyle, Brock, Mackenzie, Thomas, Chelsea, Matthew, Makaylee, Cassidy, Catherine and Stephanie and four great-grandchildren, Brady, Sylvia, Sloane and Brylyn. She was also preceded in death by one brother, Jerrel Mooring.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 from 10:00 am – 11:00 am at Grace Lutheran Church, 618 Halifax Rd, Holts Summit, MO. Funeral service will follow at 11:00 am at the church with Pastor Michael Diner officiating.
