Larry Dean Steinmetz

Funeral services will be at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, December 19, 2014 at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Bull Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until time of services.

Larry was born January 23, 1941 in Wainwright, Missouri the son of Harry and Susie Branch Steinmetz. He was married on November 4, 1972 to Donna Baysinger.

He worked at the Callaway County Power Plant for thirteen years then he worked as a logger for Jerry Holland until his retirement due to illness.

Larry enjoyed coon, deer and turkey hunting, fishing, camping and spending time with his grandchildren and long time friend Jim Fenton. He will be missed by all that knew him.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Donna Steinmetz of Holts Summit; step-daughters, Betty (Greg) Cruz and Tina (Tim) Dearing; three granddaughters, Alexzandria and Bethany McCullough and Taylor (Connor) Michael; siblings, Roger Steinmetz, Minnie Smith, Stanley Steinmetz, and Wanda Craighead along with many nieces and nephews.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Wayne and Bob Steinmetz; sisters, Emily Bainer and Ruth Gordon.
