Lois was born on October 26, 1952 in Jefferson City, MO the daughter of Jean and Shirley (Hutchinson) McKim who preceded her in death. She was united in marriage on June 10, 1972 to James Nagel who survives her passing. Lois enjoyed cooking, canning, gardening and flowers. She loved traveling, going on vacation and fishing. Lois also loved quilting and was a member of Rooster Creek Quilters, but her greatest joy was spending time with her grandson, Payden.
Survivors include: her son, Chris Nagel and Erin Fanning of New Bloomfield, MO; her daughter, Amy Nagel of Marble Hill, MO; two brothers, Samuel McKim of Holts Summit, MO, and Matt (wife Joan) McKim of Loose Creek, MO; one grandson, Payden Nagel; sister-in-law, Jane McKim, and several nephews and one niece. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Jean David McKim, Jr.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 6, 2023 from 10:00 am - 11:00 am at Debo Funeral Home in Holts Summit, MO. Funeral service will follow at 11:00 am at the funeral home with Pastor Joe Gibson officiating. Burial will be held in Summit Memorial Park in Holts Summit, MO.
