Sharon was born on June 15, 1938, in St Louis, MO the daughter of John and Lora (Murphy) Russell who preceded her in death. She was united in marriage on December 21, 1954, in Dupo, IL to David Henry Nolting who preceded her in death on September 15, 1999. Sharon moved to the New Bloomfield area and devoted over 50 years of her life to serving others. She worked for the New Bloomfield School district as a cook before owning and operating Mane Cut Salon for 25 years. She enjoyed fishing, playing cards, crocheting and dancing. She was a faithful member of Dry Fork Baptist Church in Guthrie, MO.
Survivors include: two sons, Chuck Nolting (Katherine) of New Bloomfield, MO and Dan Nolting (Susan) of Fulton, MO; one daughter, Deborah Oliver (Steve) of Troy, MO; one half-sister; seven grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her sister.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at Debo Funeral Home, Holts Summit, MO from 11:00 am – 12:00 pm. Funeral service will follow at 12:00 pm at the funeral home with Pastor Katherine Nolting officiating. Burial will be in Dry Fork Cemetery near Guthrie, MO.
