Sandy was born on June 12, 1951 in Golden, CO the daughter of Kenneth and Carol (Sivers) Richards who preceded her in death. She was a faithful member of Union Hill Baptist Church in Holts Summit. Sandy owned and operated Embroidery Plus for the past 45 years. She enjoyed walking, traveling with her sister and spending time with her grandchildren and family.
Survivors include: her two sons, Douglas Schwartze (Anne) of Holts Summit, MO and Nathan Schwartze (Teddi) of Arnold, MO; special friend, Joe Hughes of Jefferson City, MO; three grandchildren, Tristin Schwartze, Wesley Schwartze and Valerie Schwartze; two sisters, Patty Loder and Jan Lincourt; one brother, Dave Richards and several foster grandchildren that she treated like her own. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Larry Richards.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 28, 2022 from 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm at Debo Funeral Home, 10920 Old Hwy 54 North, Holts Summit, MO. Funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm at the funeral home with Rev. LP Cook officiating. Burial will be in Summit Memorial Park in Holts Summit, MO.
