Patricia A. Dexter

Patricia A. Dexter, 67, of 13 Leon Ave., Cortland, passed away Saturday, September 8, 2012, following a lengthy illness. She was born in Deposit, NY on September 13, 1944, a daughter of the late Glenn and Mary Crosby Biggs.

Pat retired in 1984 from Smith Corona. She enjoyed curling up with a good book and loved her family above all else. Surviving is her husband of 48 years, Gary A. Dexter; three sons, Dana G. (Lisa) Dexter of Groton; Derrick G. Dexter of Homer and Dustin G. Dexter of Homer; five grandchildren and a great grandson. Also surviving are five sisters, Joann Darling of Liverpool, NY; Sharon Collett of Binghamton; Judy Hurlbert of Harpursville; Christine Pleus of Harpursville; Glenn Biggs of Charlotte, NC and Kathy McMahon of Savannah, GA as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, September 13, 2012 in Elmwood Cemetery, Rt. 281, Preble, NY.

In keeping with Pat’s wishes, there will be no calling hours.
