Robert W. Glover

A lifelong area resident, he was born in Cortland on May 7, 1951, a son of Doyle R. and Harriet Ewing Glover.

Bobby was employed for more than 35 years at the Cortland Regional Medical Center, retiring in 2008.

He loved sports, especially the Philadelphia Eagles and the Baltimore Orioles.

Rip is survived by his loving mother, Harriet Glover of Cortland; four brothers, Gregg J. Ewing; Doyle R. ‘Duke’ Glover and Charles S. (Carol) Glover; all of Cortland and Terry J. (Dianna) Glover of Homer. Also surviving are his nieces and nephews, Denea Hostetter, Brooke, Kaitlyn and Aleksandr Glover.

He was predeceased by his father, Doyle R. Glover, Sr. in 2009 and a brother, Donald E. Glover in 1988.

The family will receive friends at the Donald L. Barber Funeral Home, 5016 N. Main St., Homer on Thursday, September 27, 2012 from 5-7 p.m.

Funeral services will be held privately and at the convenience of the family.
