Angela Veronica Rodrigues

Mrs. Angela Veronica Rodrigues was born on October 29, 1916 in Essequibo Guyana SA. She was one of four daughters of the late Rosamund Danette and John Fernandes of Guyana. Angela was married to the late Mr. Anthony Rodrigues in Guyana January 16 1950 and migrated to England where she became a succesful nurse at St. Elizabeth Hospital. here she worked until she retired after the death of her husband. As another display of her compassion, she adopted a young male intern Asouk Kuma who later became a doctor. Mrs Rodrigues was a devoted mother and migrated to the United States to be near her only Hubert Knights and his family after he moved to America to pursue higher education. Through the years, Angela was a mentor and entertainer and family history book for her grand-children. Mrs. Rodrigues departed this life at 11:50PM on August 4th 2012 in Miami, Florida. She leaves to mourn her passing, one Brother; Oliver Sergeant of New York, Her Son; Hubert Knights of Florida, Two Grand-Sons; Hubert Knights Jr. (Tony) and Eamonn Knights. She also leaves several Great- Grandchildren and three Great-Great Grandchildren and host of relatives in Guyana and Canada.
