Elvina Cotton Matherne, age 90, passed away at her home on Saturday, February 9 2013 in Homestead, Florida. Marie Alice Matherne, her daughter, would like to Thank Vitas Hospice care for all the work from their staff who took very good care of her Mother.

Also, with all her Heartfelt thanks to the caregivers: Paula Caine & Sharon (Faye) Kemp who was there for Mom taking excellent care of her.

Funeral Transportation arrangements to New Orleans, Louisiana are under the direction of Branam Funeral Home in Homestead, Florida.

Elvina's visitation will be held on Wednesday February 13 2013 under the direction of Mothe Funeral Home in Harvey, Louisiana from 9AM until 1Pm with a Funeral Mass to follow after the visitation at the Funeral Home.

The graveside service will begin at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday February 13 2013 at Westlawn Memorial Park in Gretna, Louisiana.
