Margaret Anne Carter Grusauskas, of Homestead, FL, passed away on March 4, 2014. She was born August 17, 1937 in Hartford, CT, the daughter of Dr. George H. Carter and Irene Merkley Carter. She is survived by her husband , Daniel Grusauskas, whom she married in 1959. She is also survived by her children: Alison C. Shook, Kathryn E. Grusauskas, Martha J. Miller, Teresa A. Gilg, Richard Brooks and 12 grandchildren. She was raised in Windham, CT and received a BS in Nursing from the University of Connecticut. In addition to raising her family, she was employed in various nursing positions including 7 years as the head nurse for an Obstetrician in upstate New York.
